Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your senior photos! I am so honored! We are going to have so much fun on your session! The first step is to make sure you have all the information you need to help make your senior experience amazing! The Client Lounge is a place to find tons of info, inspiration and more!

What to do before your session...

01. PICK YOUR DATE

Pick the date from the options that I will send to you! These dates are first come first serve so make sure you pick as soon as possible so you get the date you want! All sessions take place in the late afternoon, a few hours before sunset so depending on the time of year that could be as early as 2 p.m. in the fall when it gets dark earlier or as late as 5 p.m. in the late spring and summer months when it stays light longer.

02. THINK ABOUT THE TYPE OF LOCATION YOU WANT

Location options include nature type locations, city type locations, park locations and more! Your session includes a local location which means anywhere within Shelby and Miami county. Anything outside of those 2 counties is possible but there will be an additional fee. Think about your clothing and what type of location fits your style and personality! I have lots of locations that I use so all you have to do is tell me a type of location and I can pick the exact spot. But if you have access to a specific spot, let me know that too!!

03. START PLANNING OUTFITS

Clothing makes all the difference so plan ahead and pick outfits that really speak to your personality and style! Believe it or not, every day outfits don't look as great in photos. So think outside the box and pick outfits that will stand out on camera! How many outfits should you wear during a senior photoshoot? Three is the perfect number! One dress, one casual and one somewhere in between or completely different! I love to see outfits before the shoot so I can start thinking of specific locations that work with the clothing so text me photos of what you are thinking of wearing and I will be happy to make suggestions! Don't forget to accessorize! Hats, jewelry, etc can be the perfect thing to make your look complete!

04. THINK ABOUT PROPS THAT TELL YOUR STORY

Do you love sports? Do you paint? Dance? Play an instrument? Have a pet that you love more than anything? All of these things can be props for your senior shoot and can help tell your unique story!! Think about bringing things that will help tell your story through the photos! Don't have any hobbies? No worries! The photos will be just as amazing with not props!

WHO SHOULD COME WITH ME TO MY SHOOT?

Someone that will be supportive and encourage you throughout the shoot! That could be your mom or your best friend or anyone that is there to help make you feel comfortable, beautiful and encouraged! And if you want to come alone, that works too because I will be your hype girl, pump you up, encourage you and support you!

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY SHOOT?

Rain, rain go away! Rain is no fun on a senior session! I will watch the weather the day of your session, keep in contact with you and make the best decision for your shoot. We may need to reschedule but we will get your shoot done!

HOW SHOULD I PACK MY OUTFITS ETC FOR THE SHOOT?

Organizing your clothing and accessories together by outfit is a great way to save time during the shoot! Hang clothing, put accessories and jewelry in a ziploc type bag and attach the bag to the hanger of that outfit. Pack shoes in a separate bag so they do not mess up any of your clothes.

HOW MANY OUTFITS WORK BEST FOR SENIOR SESSIONS?

The best number of outfits to bring to your shoot is 2-3! The best combination is a dressy outfit, a casual outfit and something in between!!

HOW MUCH TIME DOES A SHOOT TAKE AND WHAT TIME DO WE START?

All shoots take place in the late afternoon to allow for best possible light. Depending on the time of year and when sun sets, shoots start anywhere between 2-5 p.m. The shoot takes apprx 1-2 hours.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EDIT THE PHOTOS?

It takes approximately two-three weeks to edit the photos from a shoot. You will view them at time of delivery. No pressure ordering sessions here!

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE?

Don't worry!! I will tell you exactly what to do, guide you through every pose and make sure I show you what to do so you feel comfortable!

What to expect after session...

01. SNEAK PEEKS

Right after your senior photo shoot, you can expect a few sneak peeks! I will share these sneak peeks on my Instagram so be sure you are following @alissageisephotography! As an AGP Model, I would love for you to share your photos with your friends and be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #agpmodel.

02. LINK TO GALLERY

About 2-3 weeks after your session, I will text a link to a private, password-protected gallery of your final images from your senior session! You will be able to download the images, print them, share them, post them, etc! Be sure to share this link with your parents!! They want to see ALL the photos from your shoot!

03. ORDER ANY PRODUCTS YOU MIGHT WANT

If you want to purchase grad announcements, an album, canvas prints, wall prints, etc. let me know! I can make sure to get you exactly what you need to show off those beautiful images!!
